We are currently recruiting for a Driver to work in our Cook & Boardman office in Winston Salem, NC.

Summary
Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.
Specific Job Duties Listed Below:
Performs pre/post inspections of truck and maintains paperwork. Reports maintenance issues to Supervisor.
Checks orders for accuracy.
Organizes and secures load.
Obtains approval on all loads from supervisor for proper count and condition of load.
Assists forklift operators when loading.
Delivers and unloads doors, frames, and hardware to customers specified locations.
Records all merchandise that is returned by truck
Completes necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips
Assists in unloading material returned for credit
Relays messages sent by customers while on job
Assists supervisor, other employees and work areas, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age
Minimum education High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
Experience driving trucks for deliver preferred
Clean driving record and current operators license
Ability to pass yearly DOT physical
Forklift certification preferred
Good communication skills Proper use of company issued devices
Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day. Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
