As a Sales Team Lead at first you will be required to start by building your sales territory. Success in this area will be based on meeting weekly and monthly sales goals. Once a steady foundation is built, responsibilities will shift to a more dynamic and variable role, where you will be tasked with the day to day leadership of your one-call close outside sales team which you will work closely with our recruiting team on achieving over time. You will be entrusted with supplemental field training and development of your sales team in addition you will be working in the field to help improve your sales team market penetration.
Key Accountabilities Include: The Sales Team Lead will build a sales territory by selling register tape advertising space to local businesses with the additional responsibilities of:
Execution of the sales plan in your geographic area of responsibility.
Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly sales goals.
Building your sales team by working with the manager or RVP and the recruiting team to hire One-Call closers.
Implementing approved sales techniques of one-call closing and prospecting.
Under the direction of the manger or RVP you will be leading a team of sales reps to ensure goals are achieved.
Riding with sales reps to develop their team and assess market conditions and recommending changes to drive success.
Conducting periodic reviews to ensure individual and campaign pacing and forecasting.
Desired Skills & Experience
3 years Sales Team Leadership demonstrating successful team development.
Proven ability to perform one-call closes.
Proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales goals.
Background in managing, mentoring, and developing outside salespeople.
Strong advertising acumen.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Bachelor degree preferred but not necessary.
Compensation: This is the perfect position if you have a sales background with little room for growth in your current position and you are looking to take the next big step in your career (ESTIMATED ALL-IN YEARLY EARING $70,000 - $90,000 or more a year.
